Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the sew-in snap tape for your RV curtains. This will show to the backside of your curtains, allow you to hold your RV curtains up if you don't want to use the traditional curtain hooks. It's very easy to sew in place. This is a nylon webbing, so it's not going to break down in the sun, not going to have to worry about it shrinking or tearing. So it should be very easy to get in place and it should hold up for a nice long time.
The way this works, obviously, once you get this sewed into into your curtain, then you'll use a snap connector like this. This end would then go into your curtain track, slide along, this circular end would then snap into your curtain tape like this so that you could open and close your curtains, move them wherever you would like them.You will obviously want to make sure that your snap connector is going to fit your curtain track. This is a type A connector. If you need one of these, you can find it here at etrailer.com using the part number that you see on the screen there. This tape will also work with type C and E.
If you don't already have some of those, you can find them here at etrailer.com. We've got lots of different RV accessories for you. Make sure that you're getting the part that you need.You can see this nylon webbing is just slightly off-white in color. It's a little bit more on the yellow side, but it is going to be on the backside of your curtains, so that shouldn't be that big of a deal. Both ends are burned to make sure that your webbing isn't going to start fraying.
So because of it, it is that nylon material, it is basically all adhered to itself there. This is six feet long. When I measured it a moment ago, it was six feet exactly, right on the dot. So obviously if you need six feet it'll work for you, but this could also be cut down if you needed a little bit less. Obviously if you're sewing it, you can make it however you like.This is made here in the USA.
So you can trust that it's made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products here in the U.S. And it does come with a limited lifetime warranty, so if you we're to run into any issues with it, you could contact the manufacturer and they'd help you out with that, but I really don't think you're going to have any issues. I think this is a pretty solid product, and it's really not going to be under that great of stress. So even though it's not the sturdiest material in the world, I don't think there's anything wrong with it, but it's really not going to be under any sort of stress. So it should hold up for a nice long time. You should only have to replace this every 30 years or so, I would imagine. So you're probably going to want different curtains by then, anyway. It is a small thing, but it made a world of difference! When I purchased an older travel trailer, the window curtains were mounted in a makeshift manner using curtain rods. The rods were straight, but, in places the RV walls were curved. That meant that there was a lot of light seepage around the edges of the curtains. I took the rods down and used fabric glue to fasten this snap tape to the curtains. The mounting strips were already on the trailer, so all I had to do was buy some extra snap fixtures and now my curtains close completely. More privacy and no light leakage around the edge of the curtains.

These were exactly what I needed for my 2008 Fleetwoood E3 trailer. The original curtains were removed by a previous owner. These snaps were easy to sew on and paired with the rv curtain clips.

This is a great way to mount curtains in my Casita. The curved sides made it difficult to hang curtains. This keeps them close at both the top and bottom and increases privacy. Also very easy to use with double-sided tape - no sewing and quick and easy installation.

These curtain snap strips worked great. We made all new curtain for the inside of our refurbished jayco popup camper and these snaps where easy to sew onto the tops of them. Thank you for all the items we where able to get from you for this big refurbishment project.
